Goodbye Year 1

yesterday marked the last day of my first year in NUS. time flies. it seemed only recently when i was a freshman getting lost around school.

this semester was good, well spent. more busy due to more commitments, but i thank God for His grace and strength that saw me through. for Him who always looked out for me and encouraged me along the way. it was a fulfilling journey.

i concluded that besides killing brain cells, university education kills trees. was just throwing my notes into a condemned corner of my cupboard yesterday, when i noticed that the whole pile of my 5 modules' readings were about 5 times as thick as my lap top. actually i have most of my readings and notes saved in my lappy (thanks to technology) but i still print them all out anyhow. that's cos i refuse to do readings from the PC. makes my eyes terribly tired, and then i can't highlight my notes (i know i can fill colour to words). nothing beats reading from paper! so to microsoft pc who wanna replace paper with tablet pcs, i'd say, ha! gimme traditional paper anytime!
