one of the rare saturdays where I don't have to reach church at 8.30am. went to macs for a deluxe brekkie with my husband. for $7.50, you get scrambled eggs, sausage patty, a whole muffin, 2 slabs of pancakes, hashbrown and a hot drink. whoo... after woofing down all the food, we were bloated and satisfied :)
witnessed many acts of love by parents this morning. notice many parents buying a whole meal for their beloved kids, and end up having either a drink or burger themselves. some parents even share only 1 burger between them.
which reminds me of my dad, who took us out to our favourite trip to macs. he would have a small cheeseburger himself, while we chomp away on our fries and burgers... and then later he'll go home to cook an egg with noodles. parents always reserve the best for their kids, no matter the expense :)
