it's been a long time

i'm back from hiatus.

well many things happened recently. i cant really recall. that's wad happens when u r not disciplined in updating your blog. u forget significant events.

today i spent quality time with my family. went for dinner together then to vivo city (the new largest shopping mall in singapore). not really impressive cos there's still a lot of construction going on. we couldnt take the crowd so we left in 30 min! haha..

before that i was at IMH - institute of mental health. interviewed one of the more 'stable' patients there. i was allocated to one of the harshest social worker, or so claimed by the other social workers there. basically it was a good time of trying out, and i learnt a lot from the debrief i had with him. though u had to be real thick skin cos his face was perpetually uphappy. i felt so inadequete at the end of everything! my skills are unsharpened. i was just tapping in on the experiences i had in interacting with the families i visit. i was thinking, if i could incorporate all these skills and the spirit of God, how much more effective my ministry would be. time to take my lectures and readings seriously. honestly, i've taken the things covered as being mere common sense. i mean it's so simple and basic, yet so essential and important.

after that i helped bro paul with visitation in yck area. one of his sec 1 kid was ranting on about boy-girl issues. i felt so impatient listening to the whole thing. does this mean i should not venture into school social work since i dont have tenacity for such issues? after all, bgr is wad most kids will face rite? haha..

2 weeks ago i celebrated justina's birthday at the gallery hotel. the toilets has glass walls.. free show for everyone.
