West Coast USA Day 5

My favourite experience of this trip!! Visiting the breathtaking Grand Canyon, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world created by the Colorado River millions of years ago.

The dusty road trip on the way to Grand Canyon...

Yay! Got our helicopter tickets and entry to viewing points :)

Boarding the heli to fly down the valley and descend onto the river banks. We waited more than an hour for the ride! There were too many tourists :(

The sun that day really got to us and we were drained of energy by evening. Spent some time exploring the vicinity of our hotel in the night, and there, our day ended.
