my new name!

my 2nd post for the day..

i think i've just wasted my day away. couldn't think of wad to type for my essay! just no inspiration. kinda spent my day dreaming and sleeping. surfing the net, watching tv. nua nua nua. hahaha.. i guess i'm too used to being on the go. and when things slow down, i get uncomfortable. i can't really get myself settled and do my work. pls be focused! soon it'll be the slowing down period to take time, sit down and study. pls don't let your mind drift away! GOD help me!!!

oh anyway, since i've got baptised, i've not given myself a baptism name. have been thinking for the past few days that i should get one. for the convenience of going into the work force too. it's always easier to remember an english name. so.... i've decided on the name....

HEATHER!

hehe.. well this is actually my childhood dream name. i read it in a story book when i was in primary school, and i liked the name very much! but i asked my mum and she said that name sounds sickly. but now i'm old enough to decide for myself. haha... anyway i did a little search and found out that the name 'heather' has the following meaning, besides it being used as a feminine name:

A low-growing shrub having small evergreen leaves and clusters of small, bell-shaped pinkish-purple flowers. (sounds sweet) Also called 'ling'. and my chinese name is huiling. ah! that's suits me perfectly.

i'm really in love with this name now. it's for me! hehe. Heather heather heather. yikes, but it'll take some getting used to.
