CNY holiday

let me do a quick update before i go to study for my EL test tmr. went back to malaysia to visit on sunday. guess how much i received from my relatives this year? a whooping RM40. lowest record ever. haha.. all of them were MIA.

yesterday i went to a family friend's place. had fun catching up with them and seeing new additions to families. u know.. singaporean parents will go great lengths to get their kids into good schools. like donating money, doing community work, cleaning fish tanks, moving to within 1km of the school. i wonder wad i'll do for my kids in future. anyway, corrie is currently doing internship at Life!. going to study at Brown uni in aug.

in the evening, del and joanne came over for dinner. we watched memoirs of a geisha. it was a big disappointment! 1st of all, i could not catch wad zhang ziyi, gong li and that ken wanta-dunno-wad were saying. it was draggy and boring. the only thing good was the setting of the movie. nice scenery. after that we made our way to marina. laughed and took nonsense pictures. wanted to watch i not stupid but no more tickets. in the end, joanne and i hung around esplanade til about 2plus in the morning, catching up and eating nachos. had a good time fellowshipping. joanne is becoming a cgl soon!

then today, pc zone came over to a CNY lunch. that's a summary of my holiday. i feel tired...
