Good Morning!

my 2nd entry in a brand new year! gotta set my goals by this week! haha.. it's finally the weekend, and i've completed a week in the corporate industry! so glad for the rest.. cos i've caught some virus and am not feeling very well. i do wonder why the monsoon season is still lingering..

let's talk about my workplace. 1stly, i must really thank God for putting nice people around me. my training supervisor is a cgl from our church, and she's really very patient and caring. hmm the office is 90% females. only the IT dept and one other staff are guys. which is quite good cos females clique better. and my colleagues have all been pretty nice. this week i recieved 3 treats. my HOD is quite inflexible actually. i spent my 830-330 just amending a report cos she didn't like it that way. other than that, my whole working experience has been quite enjoyable, learning new things, seeing new things, and suntec city is such a good environment! so many shops, so much to walk about. and guess wad.. most retail stores are having 50-70% sale! so i managed to get a pair of formal slacks at G2000 at a good price. but gotta get more clothes cos their dresscode is strictly formal, and i even have to wear heels. sigh.. speaking of which, i did my calculations, and i might have to spend close to $100 a month on food alone! cos the food there is so ex. so i'd probably start eating less. :)

another thing to mention is that i'd be going for a basic malay class with guen starting wed! isn't that exciting! i was so keen to find out more when i heard it from her. well since i'm from truly asia, and who knows if one day i'd go back, i might as well know the language there. and hopefully i can converse with my maid better. haha..

ok going back to sleep. need rest need rest..
